Why Usals Engine:
USALS is a technology developed by the Italian firm STAB and distributed for free to all manufacturers of computers, digital satellite receiver cards and satellite receivers. It stands for"Universal Satellite Automatic Location System" and is designed for moving antennas to automatically find the positions of different satellites and make it easy to adjust the moving dish. Many companies have applied this software to their devices. Thanks to this, the satellite receiver can calculate the positions of all satellites in orbit in terms of the location of the installation and with an accuracy of more than 0.1 degrees. For this purpose, the adjustment of the dish according to all satellites occurs automatically without any adjustment information. The USALS program is not an alternative to the DiSEqC1.2 communication protocol. It is software that works on satellite receivers. The DiSEqC1.2 protocol array operates the engines in "rotate to angle position" mode. In fact, this is the only command USALSın uses. The Usals program is a slightly more advanced alternative to the DiSEqC1.2 protocol.
